Middle Eastern Dance Instruction
TEACHING FORMAT & STYLE
All students new to the Salimpour™ format, whether brand new or advanced dancers, begin with Level 1. These classes are designed to teach dancers the necessary skills, technique and terminology to develop organic movement, to move forward in dance and create their own expression through belly dance. Classes are structured on the Suhaila Salimpour format. Class composition includes warm-up, technique, vocabulary, musicality awareness and nomenclature. Bring your finger cymbals. Vilia is Suhaila Level 5 certified and is pursuing Jamila Level 5 as well as continuing education to maintain her teaching certification.
Note: CECs only count if taught by licensed CEC instructor Vilia Bouilly.

Ongoing Fundamentals 1+ class class
geared towards beginning students or those interested in exploring the Salimpour format.
This class consists of Salimpour format exercises,
combinations, choreography and drills that introduce and build upon the basics.
Bring a mat and finger cymbals. Performance opportunities available!
$20/class drop-in OR $100 for 6-class card

Directions
The Multi-Award winning Arabina Dance Company has
performed regular dinner shows at Zorba's Greek Restaurant
in Chula Vista for more than thirteen years. In addition, they are regularly
contracted for shows with professional organizations such as
the San Diego Library
Under Vilia's artistic direction, Arabina has won multiple
championship awards for choreography and performance in
esteemed Middle Eastern Dance competitions such Belly Dancer
of the Universe, Belly Dancer USA and Wiggles of the West.
